Colour Management

Colour Management

Colour management is the most fundamental aspect of digital imaging at all stages of its reproduction. It helps the user control digital information at any step from processing to printing.

Light and colour perception

Colour management is the process of measuring and reproducing colours on different devices. The primary goal is the inspection of colour information and the correct transmission in digital media. With monitor calibration what we see on my screen, will be exactly in the same colour when it will be printed on any material and on different printers (printer calibration).

Our studio is equipped with the best Hardware Calibration screens and we use custom icc profiles on all materials, for all printing methods (C-type / Giclee / Large Format / Digital offset).

Creation of monitor and printer ICC Profile

Below, you will find Prolab's ICC Profiles for all the printers and materials we use.

ICC Profiles are provided for soft proof in Photoshop and to help you choose the material and printing technology that will capture your project in the best way possible.

Please do not save your files with the profile you selected, so that we can make the necessary colour and tonal corrections. For any information regarding colour management, do not hesitate to contact us.
